There is an opportunity, to send 40 students to Highland on February 1st, to experience their film festival. Any students who are interested should see Mrs. Corman in Room 204 as soon as possible, as spaces will fill up quickly.
Open to all DI teams. Come to room 204 for a meeting, to discuss all events and competitions coming up. Pizza will be provided, and we will be doing an instant challenge. Please let Mrs. Corman know that you are attending.
John Abbott will be working with our students to create a vision and offer advice regarding the design and delivery of secondary education globally and for our district as we move forward. He will work with the challenge students
•Grades 7 – 9 in the morning (9:30 – 11:30)
•Grades 10 – 12 in the afternoon (1:00 – 3:00)
I hope that all of our gifted students will participate in this rare, meaningful, important and empowering opportunity. John Abbott is the Director of the 21st Century Learning Initiative. He has been working with 60 world class researchers, educational innovators, thinkers, business leaders and policy-makers from 12 countries in developing a Synthesis of all these concepts and ideas that can be used by policy-makers and community leaders to extend the learning agenda beyond the walls of the school.
